Announcements for Wednesday,May 12th

1.
Yesterday, your Danforth Girls’ Softball teams travelled to play Marc Garneau.. Marc Garneu’s girls seemed stunned as they were overpowered both offensively and defensively. Danforth hurt them early and of ten. Your Hawks won by a whopping 18-2 score. Danforth hurt them early and often. Thursday will see a battle of the undefeated with your Hawks taking on Jarvis collegiate. Congratulation Girls!!!
2.
A reminder to the girls varsity soccer team, game today at 3pm. The girls will be excused at 2. Thank you. Also, there will be no practice at lunch.
3.
All students going to the history contest this afternoon, please meet Mr. Johnson in room B30 at the beginning of lunch.

The Equity Club has a brief but mandatory meeting today at lunch in C39.
5.
There’s still no anime showcasing today, and it will be on tomorrow, due to ONE FULL HOUR of video games invasion today. The game we’ll be playing is Left 4 dead 2. Please don’t LEFT for being DEAD or please left to be alive and come by to room B2.

Today Ball Hockey game is between Team Turtle Power and Team Gaitors. All teams, please check schedule as it is updated daily.

Don’t forget Danforth, tomorrow’s the dance show. Tickets will be $5 at the door. It’s gonna be one wild dance show. Don’t miss your chance at a great show by our very own dance students! There may be a few special surprises…That’s why you gotta go to the show! Starts at 7pm tomorrow…be there!

Jazz Band meets tomorrow at 3:15. All Jazz band players must attend.

Danforth, in frigid and damp conditions, beat Eastern, Commerce decisively lost right by 9 wickets in a friendly cricket match. After a fine bowling performance by Ekram taking 3 wickets , the opening partnership of Mohitul and Rayun reached with in 10 runs of Eastern’s score until Mohitul was out having scored a halt century. Keep pace with Eastern all the way. Danforth, seen with 9 wickets to spare. There will be no practice today after school.
