Yesterday, your Girls' Softball team journeyed to Dentonia Park to play in the quarter-finals versus a tough, west - end opponent - Parkdale. Your Red Hawks went up early and did not give up their lead. They won 14 to 10 in total team effort. However, one person's hard work must be acknowledged. Not having our starting pitcher, it was a fearless, grade 9 student who had to step up and pitch for the first time in the playoffs, without any real game experience. Christal Cole had shutdown batters and showed a dominance not typically seen in a first-time pitcher. Incredible job, Christal!
Come and see your Girls Softball team play in the semi-finals on Monday at Ted-reeve starting at 3:30 p.m. DC-DCT-DCTI GO HAWKS SOFTBALL!!
