Next Wednesday February 3rd, the krumping out Crime program is coming to Danforth tech
For those students who have attended the showcase and signed up for the program: We’ll be waiting for you in room B8 after school.
The program begins for the first session at 3:10pm until 5:00.
The krumping instructors will be there on Wednesday, so be ready to dance.

D.D. program fund raising sale will be held in the front foyer tomorrow. All sales will be donated to the Canadian Red Cross to help the victims in the Haiti Earthquake. That is tomorrow, Friday The prices range from $1 to $20.

All right Red Hawks! The Girls Hockey Team played their best defensive game yet- poke checking passing, clearing the puck and making awesome saves.

Underground Dance is today. It starts at 11:45 in A19. The dance studio. No experience required.

For DCTI Anime Club, today showcase will be karas, an epic CGI-anime celebrating the animation studio. There will be a video Games Invasion today, and we're playing Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate right after the showcase. Hopefully to see you there in B2.

Those interested in performing a dance in the black history month Assembly.There is a brief meeting at 12 noon today in the dance studio.

There will be a practice for the Jr. Boys Basketball Team today in the North Gym.

During this year’s torch relay, Canada made several records including; taking the torch to the farthest north and having the longest relay in one country ( over 45000km ). In Celebration of the games, DOC the Danforth Olympics Committee want to know your favourite part of the Olympics, or your favourite athlete, sport, etcc. So get ready to spread some Canadian oruce!!! Also there will be a brief DOC meeting afterschool today outside the broadcasting room (A37). New members welcome!

Hey Danforth, can you believe the Olympics are only 37 days away? And this is the first time they have been in Canada for 20 years! In celebration, we, the Danforth Olympic committee want to know what your favorite part of the Olympics are, so start thinking of what you want to write on your medal, that will be displayed in the foyer!

The Charity and volunteer committee is meeting today at lunch in C10 as usual New members are always welcome!

Battle of the bands has moved to a later date in March Due to complications.

This is a reminder for Adrian Swaby and Ashley Allen – Please meet Ms. Pearson after school in B65. All stage Crew, Check your email daily for new updates.

Please excuse all members of the Junior Boys Basketball Team at 1:30 pm for a game at Humberside. There is also a meeting for both Jr. and senior boys B-Ball teams at lunch in the south gym.

There will be a GIRLS HOCKEY TEAM metting on Wednesday Jan. 6 in room C46 at 11:45. Pleease bring your lunch.

There is NO yoga this week or next week. Yoga will start again Monday Jan 18th at 3:20 in the dance studio. Make it your New Year's resolution to be fit and flexible.

Could Matthew Wrigglesworth please see Ms. Pearson at lunch or after school today.

This is a reminder to all Grade 9 girls that you need to change into your Danforth gym uniform for class tomorrow. Check the gym doors for your class locations.

Ladies, lets start The year off right. Do you want to start the year by getting fit & healthy? Come out and join Ladies only fitness every Monday & Thursday from 3:15-4:15 in the fitness centre. Just think how great you will feel by the summer.
