Summer holidays are approaching and the Canadian Blood Services Youth Volunteer Program is looking for students 14 older who are interested in volunteering at blood donor clinics in the Greater Toronto Area during the months of July and August. Volunteers will be performing customer service roles in the clinics and administrative tasks at the office. The program offers a letter of reference, certificate of appreciation, a final recognition ceremony, a chance to meet other students and a great opportunity to complete those volunteer hours! Additional information is available at the guidance office.

Attention all athletes, sport Enthusiasts and sport fans. The Danforth Athletic Banquet will be held on Wednesday June 2nd in the Student Cafeteria. Tickets are on sale Now in Y2 for only $5. Get yours early!

This is a reminder to all Girls’ Softball players that they have a mandatory meeting right at the beginning of lunch in room B37. The Danforth Softball Team have their quarter final match today vs. Parkdale. Good luck, Girls!

Today showcase is Black Lagoon, and the special showcase is Grenadier. The deadline of Characters Art Character is today, and don’t forget to hand-in to me by today. Anime North, the biggest anime convention in Canada is going to start tomorrow at 6pm. Be sure to be there as well.
7. Very short Boys’ Baseball meeting at start of lunch today in C45. Boys dismissed at 1pm for the 3 o’clock game at Christie Pits.

Do you still need to earn some community hours? If so, The Adam Beck Public School needs your help for their Mayfair on Sunday, May 30th. Grab a friend and go to the Guidance office to see Mr. daSilva and fill out a volunteer form for the event. There are hours from 8am to 4:30pm to fill. You can come for the day or just for a couple of hours. Anyone who works two hours or more will receive free lunch coupons.

Year end Alumnae Drama show is this Saturday! Pleasse see Ms. Neub to reserve tickets- 2:00 Matinee or 7:00 evening. Come out and support the drama department and see a great show full of lots of laughs!
