The Danforth Hawks football team tangled with the previously unbeaten Western Tech. Mustangs. Yesterday, the wildcat was tamed as the hawks scored 26 unanswered points to clench the East Division Title along with a berth in the playoffs. Thanks to all staff and students who helped the hawks be successful. Final Score: 26-6

Congratulations to all the Danforth Fall athletes. This has to one of the best fall seasons at Danforth in years. Thanks to all coaches and athletes and teachers.

 There will be an important meeting for any student who wishes to join as a performer in the holiday show drama performance. If you are already part of a group rehearsing for the holiday show – the meeting is not for you

You must attend if you are interested in performing in this year’s holiday show drama performance. If you can not make the meeting, please tell Ms. Neub.

The junior boy’s soccer team lost a close play off match up to Parkdale yesterday – in penalty kicks. Great season boys! Meanwhile, the senior boy’s soccer team got a big play off win over Riverdale – also in penalty kicks. Scoring penalties for Danforth were Travis Durham, Tommy Stamatopoulos, and the hero – goal keeper Theo Kintis

This means that many people, including children, are not sure where their next meal is coming from. So please during the week of the 25th to the 29th try your best and bring in non-perishable food to help others in need. This halloween, end hunger.

The senior boy’s volleyball team played a great weekend tournament at the Queen University Invitational. The team went up against some great teams in Ontario and finished the tournament in 5^th place. Great Weekend Boys!

Yesterday in League action, the senior boys demolished Leaside 25-5, 25-10 to keep their record unbeaten at 5-0. Next game is today in the North Gym vs North Toronto. Come out and support your team!

Congratulations go out to the senior boy's volleyball team who also went undefected in their tournament. The boy's played 4 times reigning OFSSAA champion champion eden in the set 27-26. Lost the second set 25-22 and lost a tough 3rd set 15-11. Great play. Next game is against Jarvis tomorrow.

Congratulations goes out to the junior boy's volleyball team who competed in the Danforth Invitational on Thursday. The team played inspired ball going undefeated through to the finals. The finals were hard fought but we came up on the short end to a very strong Dr. Norman Bethune team. Great job boys. Next action is here tomorrow vs Jarvis.
