Announcements for Oct. 15th

1.
Everyone deserves a second chance. If you believe that bottles, cans and paper deserve a second chance at life, then come to the eco-schools meeting at lunch on Oct. 20th in C45. Dream healthy, dream sustainable, dream green!

2.
Reminder that there is a DLC meeting Tuesday Oct. 19 at 3pm in room A12. Please be on time. Attendance is Mandatory.

3.
Cooking Club is cancelled this week. We will meet next Thursday at 3 pm.

4.
There will be a tryout for Junior Boys Basketball today at lunch in the south gym.

5.
Steel pans drumming sessions being starting October 19 at 3:15pm in room B66(the band room) If you signed up already, please make sure you attend tomorrow. If you didn't, come to the session anyhow! If we do not get enough interested students, the program is in jeopardy of being CANCELLED! Speak to Ms. Neub or Ms. Ho if you are interested but can not make it tomorrow afterschool.

The senior boy’s volleyball team played a great weekend tournament at the Queen University Invitational. The team went up against some great teams in Ontario and finished the tournament in 5th place. Great Weekend Boys!

Yesterday in League action, the senior boys demolished Leaside 25-5, 25-10 to keep their record unbeaten at 5-0. Next game is today in the North Gym vs North Toronto. Come out and support your team!

Junior boys volleyball yeam is reminded of their dismissal at 2:20 pm for their game in the North Gym vs North Toronto.

There is a girls hockey meeting on Wed. in B40 at 11:35. Don’t forget to bring your completed permission forms and your lunch.

The Danforth Hawks football team would like to thank all their fans for coming out and supporting their team.

A friendly reminder to all home form teachers, select your class representative for the Grand Council. Fill in the provided form in your mail boxes with the name of your representative. Return to Ms. Chan’s (Teacher) mail box ASAP.

Listen up Danforth, when the sun gets up, you better get running. A reminder to all students on the cross country team that there will be a practice today after school. Run fast, run hard, run for life!
