1.
The Charity and Volunteer Committee will be selling some great stuff in the front foyer all week at lunch. Make your own button or buy some candy or beads to support Toronto Intergenerational Partnership and free the children.
2.
For those students who have attended the showcase and signed up for a program we’ll we waiting for you in room B8 after school.
The program begins for the first session at 3:10pm until 5:00
The krumping instructors will be there on Wednesday , so be ready to dance again, the program begins on Wednesday, Feb 3rd at 3:10pm until 5:00pm

Good Morning from Ms. Liarakos. Diaspora Dialogues will be in DA Huse tomorrow at lunch. All grade 11 and 12 students are welcome.

Could Peter Stone and John Connelly please see Ms. Neub at lunch today in B39.

Attention all students interested in try out for the badminton team. The first try outs will be held tomorrow at 3:30 in the North Gym. Make sure you bring your forms!
6. Danforth’s Greatest Athlete Continues today at lunch.

The Danforth Chess Team will practice today at lunch in room b54.

A reminder to all home form teachers that “Matchmaker” is commencing. Please distribute the forms to your home form students. It does not cost money to fill them out, only to pick them up once the matches are made.

There will be a practice for the Jr. Boys basketball Team in the south gym afterschool.

The boys hockey team played their best game so far. We beat Ursula Franklin 5-2. Goal of the day was Mickey Speaker with a beautiful spin-o-ram and Ian McNeil being called up from the minors scoring his first career goal and making some punishing hits. Great game guys, Next game is Thursday at Ted Reeve.

Champions League Soccer – Real Madrid plays Manchester United today at lunch.

Cooking Club meets tomorrow at 3:00pm in B25.

Important meeting in Room B76 at the beginning of lunch for All students interested in playing Coed Volleyball this year.

Fictionistas meet today at lunch in B6. Be there to discuss “The Pretties”.

This is an announcement for all the Energy Conservation team members. A reminder of out meeting at lunch today in room A14. Please be there the beginning of lunch.
18. This month genre/theme is Romance and Drama and the last month genre/theme was Samurai and Ninja. Today showcase will be Sai-ka-no, an interesting start of this month, and the special showcase will be fruits basket. I wonder how many fruits are in the basket? Well anyways, definitely need to sheck those two shows out, and it’s in room B2. There is still no Video Games Invasion today and it’ll be on next week.
